You Will Need (3 things)

  • Printed Pattern (file: Glasses Case.pdf)
  • Leather , felt, pleather or any material that does not fray or scratch
  • Velcro

Steps (11 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

    1. Cut the glasses case pattern from your chosen material, taking care to keep the cut edges smooth.

  2. 2

    2. Cut a length of Velcros loop side measuring 4.5cm x 1.5cm.

  3. 3

    3. Sew the Velcros to the wrong side of the material along the bottom edge (do not trim the Velcros to fit).

  4. 4

    4. Top stitch across the top edge of the inside flap.

  5. 5

    5. Cut a length of Velcros hook side measuring 1.5cm x 1.5cm.

  6. 6

    6. Sew the Velcros to the right side of the inside flap.

  7. 7

    7. Turn the inside flap to the inside along the fold line, secure with clips.

  8. 8

    8. Top stitch (about 2-3mm from the edge) around the case close to the edge, back tacking at each end. Sew on the right side so you can follow the top edge and secure the loop Velcros.

  9. 9

    9. Trim the loop Velcros to fit the shape.

  10. 10

    10. Congratulations! Your case is ready to use!
