This brown tile with a pink heart pendant is made from an altered glass tile from the home improvement store. The tile is painted brown and embellished with a raised pink and orange heart. The heart is foam that was cut with a diecut machine. The heart is painted with pink and red paint and attached to the tile with glossy accents. The tile measures 1 7/8 x 1/2 inches. A recycled silver colored metal nut is attached as a bail. I used glossy accents as my glue. First attaching the nut and letting the glue dry overnight. The next day I added more glossy accents around the base of the nut to reinforce the hold. The pendant is strung on 18 inches of dark copper chain with a spring ring closure. These pendants are so much fun to make. There are so many possible ways to alter the glass tiles and make them into wearable art.
