Octocat is the mascot for a coding website called GitHub. Tom uses it to store the code for CO+K and we loved the little Octocat so much I decided to make him one as a mascot.

Download the template and cut out the pieces. Use the templates to cut out the felt pieces for the face. You need one face shape in beige, two big eyes in white and two smaller eyes, a nose, and a mouth in brown.
Place the felt pieces on top of each other, referring to the logo.
Use brown thread to stitch the features on to the face.
Cut two strips of black wire and bend in the middle.
Twist the two loops together and bend in to the shape of cat whiskers.
Cut out two black felt cat heads and stitch the whiskers in to the middle of one of them.
Stitch the cat face overtop of the whiskers.
Cut out two of the bodies in black felt.
Sew around the legs, leaving the top unstitched.
Bend wire in to the shape of the legs and slip inside each leg.
Stitch the back of Octocat's head to the front and fill with stuffing. Fill the body with stuffing and place the body inside the head and stitch together.
Stitch small blue sequins up one of the legs.
Tie on a bell if you want.
Give to a geek and make him very happy!
