For this pattern you can use scrap yarn ...I used part of a green ball of worsted weight yarn and a 3.5 hook. But really you can use any yarn or hook the only thing that will happen is the size of your critter will change. Pattern Abbreviations ch~chain sc~single crochet hdc~half double crochet dc~double crochet sl st~slip stitch sk st~skip stitch invdec~invisible decrease fo~fasten off?

  2. ~Monster Pattern~ Body and Legs: Ch 28. Sc in second ch from hook and the remaining chains. Ch 1 turn sc across (do this round 5 times in total. Now sc to the middle of the back of you ami, you can choose either side that is up to you. Skip the next 33 st, and then you will sc in the next 32 stitches (this will be the first leg. Now sc x 120, place your stitch marker (Invedec, skip st) for the entire round. Invdec around, fo and sew in ends.

  3. Second Leg Insert hook and pull up loop on other side of the body...ride beside the leg you were just working on, then sc x 31 around. Sc x 120, place your st marker (invdec, skip st) around Invdec around, fo and weave in ends.

  5. Arms (make 2) 6 sc in ring 2 sc in each st Sc x 35 (sc, ivdec) x 6, fo leave a long tail

  6. Now you sew the face on your stuffie....weave in all ends stuff him. Add your eyes, maybe some hair a bow or flower or whatever you want. This is a basic pattern but could be changed into maybe a kitty just add ears. It's nice and easy when you don't feel like doing a big pattern. I hope you like her.
