You Will Need (13 things)

  • Muffins

  • 115 g Butter
  • 234 g Treacle
  • 375 g Plain Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp All Spice
  • 100 g Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Milk Room temp

Steps (5 steps, 40 minutes)

    Heat oven 220 degrees.

    Melt butter & treacle together.

    Set aside.

    In a bowl mix together flour, bicar, salt, cinnamon, ginger & all spice.

    Mix sugar, egg, yogurt & milk into the butter mixture.

    Mix together until combined.

    Fold the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined.

    Spoon into Muffin cases.

    Bake for 5 mins.

    Reduce oven temp to 175 degrees & continue to bake for 15-16 mins until cooked through.
