You Will Need (10 things)

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Butter Melted
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Hot Water
  • 1 1/2 cup Self-Raising Flour
  • 2 tsp Ginger
  • Decorating

  • Apricot Jam
  • Whipped Cream
  • Icing Sugar

Steps (6 steps, 40 minutes)

    Heat oven 355/180 degrees.

    Whisk together eggs & sugar until pale, light & fluffy (10 mins)

    Sift flour & ginger together 3 times.

    Fold into the egg mixture

    Fold in the water & butter.

  4. 4

    Pour into a tin.

    Bake 20 mins until cooked through

  5. 5

    Sandwich the cake together with jam & cream.

    Sprinkle with icing sugar.

    Cut & serve.
