Steps (9 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

Using the instructions that come with the Template Studio, cut your poster board into the correct dimensions depending on the size flower you're making. Use the flower template to cut and score your poster board so you can make a 3D flower shape from it.

  2. 2

Fold along the score lines as described in the instruction booklet, and glue your flower petals together. Be sure to use very strong glue so your flower stays together securely.

  3. 3

Once you've glued all your petals together, you can gently roll them back to give them more dimension.

  4. 4

Make a center for your flower by cutting fringe into a 12 x 3 inch piece of poster board or scrapbooking cardstock.

  5. 5

Roll the fringed paper up, securing it with some strong adhesive. Hot glue is my favorite for 3D projects.

  6. 6

Peel and curl the fringe page to make it look like a flower center, and then glue it into the center of the flower.

  7. 7

Layer your flowers to get a full effect, or to add greenery and leaves.

  8. 8

Glue a loop of twine onto the top back of the flower for hanging.

  9. 9

Brightly colored poster paper works best for luaus or Moana themed parties.
