This comes out tasting sort of like hummus and guacamole had a baby that grew up to win a Nobel Prize in deliciousness. The lack of extra fats kills a lot of the oil flavor that you can sometimes get from most hummus recipes and it tastes super fresh and green. I had toyed with the idea of adding some spinach to give it more green color, but I’m glad that I didn’t because that probably would have just resulted in a bunch of green flakes throughout and it probably would have changed the flavor.

It’s as simple as throwing all your ingredients into a food processor and blitzing it up. Remember my recipe is really only a guideline, you can do whatever you like and customize it specifically to your tastes if you feel so inclined.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and serve with avocado oil and a dash of good quality smoked paprika or sumac. For more info: https://theyearlingblog.wordpress.com/2015/10/20/day-293-ghoulish-avocado-hummus/
