So I was egg dying and wanted to do something interesting and this is what I came up with!
I used the normal boxed egg dyes that you mix with vinegar to do this. Also I didn't have purple so I only used blue and pink. I'm sure purple could fit in somewhere.

You Will Need (2 things)
- 12 Egg Dying Kit
- Hard Boiled Eggs
Steps (5 steps, 20 minutes)
-
1
First take your egg and a clear wax crayon (they typically come with the egg dying kit) and randomly draw dots and small crosses on the egg to look like stars.
I tried to put some of them in clumps and some spread out. -
2
Put the drawn on egg into the normally prepared pink dye. Let it sit until it is totally pink, not just light pink.

Once you take it out, use a paper towel to rub some spots of the egg lighter. This is how you get the galaxy effect.
You should also see your stars. -

Do the same thing for the blue. Put it in the dye for a few minutes, take it out, and rub some spots of it a little lighter. I recommend to letting the eggs dry in an egg carton.
I didn't have purple and I'm not sure if they normally do, so I only used pink and blue. I'm sure you could incorporate purple if you had it. -
