Originally I made this head piece to accessorise my head on a Lady Gaga gig. Since I have reused and reused it over and over again. This is made out of same fabric - says the rumors - Lady Gaga herself collected from local fabric store on her last visit in Finland. As you see, we both have a great taste of glittery tulle fabrics. And this fascinator is so easy to make - no sewing.
Take a piece of glittery tulle. Find a head band. And get the scissors ready. Cut one thin ribbon piece out from the end of tulle fabric - you will bind the fascinator together with that piece.
Take the tulle piece and fold it around the hair band. Take the tulle ribbon you cut a minute ago close.
Twist and turn the tulle fabric piece as you like. Bind is with the tulle ribbon. Remember to keep all edges nice and neat. And don't forget to make a pretty bow with the loose end of that tulle ribbon.
Result should look like this on the bottom - like a pretty birds nest, no ugly loose edges - turn those edfes to pretty loop forms
Like this - tucked and turned.
With every use you can reform this fascinator. Remold and then remold again - that is the joy of tulle. Your Imagination is the limit. Maybe you like to use bobby pins and attach edges of the tulle to your hair in totally wicked way.
I used bright turquoise tulle and ended up looking like Marge Simpson - but hey, I could not ask for more. (in some pics tulle looks pretty blue - just like my hair. Match made in heaven <3)
Make it look like you - this is how I look with my Gaga my Day Fashinator
