You Will Need (2 things)

  • 1 Materials
  • Needle, Thread And Scissor

Steps (15 steps, 150 minutes)

  1. 1

First I started with just what I needed.

Scissors, Pins, Needles, Thread, my leopard print fur.

  2. 2

Next I layed out my leopard print fur to see, how much I had to work with.

  3. 3

I then folded one edge up, to create the size of the bag I wanted.

  4. 4

Next, fold the folder piece of material over.

Or you can bring the longer piece of material over the top of the folded piece, and cut. This will be your opening flap.

  5. 5

open the bag so the inside is facing out. Making sure that the font opening flap is folded over out of the way.

    This is the inside.

  6. 6

Just another picture to show you what i mean!

  7. 7

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS STEP. IT IS OPTIONAL.

I wanted to slightly water proof mine.

So i cut up a plastic bag, and fitted the pieces into the middle, about an inch or so away from the edge.

  8. 8

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS STEP, IT IS OPTIONAL.

I then sewed tiny little knots into the plastic, so it stayed together as one piece rather than loads of random pieces

  9. 9

Next I cut up one of my mums adorable *cough* pillow cases, cause I didn't have anything else!

Using a different material would work just aswell though!

I cut the material to match the size of the fur.

  10. 10

Making sure the inside material is about 1cm away from the edge.

    START SEWING!

  11. 11

You should end up with something like this.

  12. 12

    Next!

FOLD OVER the edges of the fur or material.

Only by about a 1cm, that you already made room for!

Pin it down, as it's so hard when it decides to go walkabout.

  13. 13

Fold the bag over so the fur is now on the outside!

This is where its a little bit tricky!

Sew the from the folded over outside edge.

  14. 14

    Turn it back inside out!!

    Sew from the inside too!

Remember to do this on both sides!

    Leaving the opening flap free!

  15. 15

Turn it back the right way!

    And ta da!

You can add a bag strap, or make one by simply using some left over material.

You can also add patches, or buttons and poppers or even a zip to keep it closed!
