  1. Body- With Hot Red and H hook, ch 2. Rnd 1- Work 8 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd. (8 sc) Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (16 sc) Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (24 sc) Rnd 4- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (32 sc) Rnd 5- 1 sc in each of first 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (40 sc) Rnd 6- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, *1 sc in each of next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around. (48 sc) Rnd 7- 1 sc in each of first 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, [1 sc in each of next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc,] 7 more times, 1 sc in each sc till end of round.   2. As for all Mookie Tookies, now, we’ll stop working in rounds, from now on, we’ll work in rows, to give our little guy the personality that is now typical of Mookie Tookies. Usually, we would divide our little doggy into 4 sections, this time, we will do things differently. From the center of Kibbles’ Back, count 30 sc, moving from the Back to the Front, mark sc #30 with a marker or piece of yarn. From the center of Kibbles’ Back, cound 30 sc again, going from Back to Front as before, mark with marker or piece of yarn, skipping 12 sc. Row 21- Join Spring Green, to the sc at the very center of Kibbles’ Back and sc across the first 30 sc. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn. Row 22- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn. Rows 23 to 30- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn. Row 30- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Fasten off Spring Green, leaving long tail to sew with. Now let’s work on the opposite side of Front and Back, still leaving the Center of Front for later. Row 21- From the end of the Spring Green Side, count 12 sc and skip them. Join Delft Blue to next sc and work 1 sc in each sc till you reach the last un-worked sc at Back. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn. Row 22- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.   3. Thread blunt needle with leftover tail and sew both sides of Back closed. Fasten off, weave in tail inside Body. Thread blunt needle with tails you left and sew Right Side to edge of Front Center, fasten off, weave in tail inside Body. Repeat for opposite side. Fasten off, weave in tail inside Body. Set aside Body for now. Arms- Arm #1- With Hot Red and H hook, ch 2. Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd. (6 sc) Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc) Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc) Rnd 4- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten off Hot Red, weave in tails. Rnd 5- Join Spring Green, work 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off Hot Red, leaving long tail to sew with.

  5. Stuff Arms and sew in place as seen in photos. Fasten off, weave in tail inside Body. Stuff Legs and sew in place the same as Arms. Weave in tail inside Body.

  6. Tail- With Hot Red and H hook, ch 2. Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd. (6 sc) Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc) Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc) Rnds 4 to 5- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Rnd 6- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with. Stuff Tail lightly and sew to center of Back as seen in photos. Fasten off inside Body.

  7. Muzzle (Make 2)- With Daffodil and H hook, ch 2. Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd. (6 sc) Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc) Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc) Rnd 4- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (24 sc) Rnd 5- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Rnd 6- 1 sc in each sc around. Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with. Stuff Muzzle pieces and pin in place. Thread blunt needle and sew pieces in place as seen in photos. Fasten off and weave in ends inside Body.

  8. Nose- With Black and H hook, ch 2. Row 1- 1 sc in second ch from hook. (1 sc) Ch 2, turn. Row 2- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in in next sc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. (3 sc) Ch 2, turn. Row 3- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in next sc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. (5 sc) Ch 1, turn. You have a little triangle, now let’s make it more like the Nose of a dog. Rnd 4- Working on the side of the little triangle, make 1 sc in each row edge till you reach the very tip of the triangle. Make 3 sc in the tip of the triangle, and working your way up the opposite side of the triangle, make 1 sc in each of the 3 rows. Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with. Pin Nose on top of Muzzle’s center and threading blunt needle with tail, sew in place. Stitch down the Middle in between Muzzle sections as seen in photos and embroider a short straight line at the bottom for Mouth. Fasten off, weave in tail inside Body.

  9. Eyes- (Make 2) First Part- With Black and H hook, ch 2. Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd. Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with. Second Part- Join White anywhere around the Eye. Semi-rnd 1- Make 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, sl st in next sc. Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with. Pin Eyes in place as seen in photos and sew using appropriate yarn tails. When starting to stitch on the Black side of Eye, stitch a little beyond the edge of the Eye to match the White side, after a few stitches, just follow the rim of the Eye. Do the same at the end. Optional- Stitch points of “light” as seen in Eyes. Fasten off, weave in tail inside Body.

  10. Ears- Ear #1- First Side- With Spring Green and H hook, ch 2. Row 1- 1 sc in second ch from hook. (1 sc) Ch 2, turn. Row 2- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in in next sc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. (3 sc) Ch 2, turn. Row 3- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in next sc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. (5 sc) Ch 2, turn. Row 4- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in next sc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. (7 sc) Ch 2, turn. Row 5- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in next sc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. (9 sc) Ch 2, turn.
