These nails actually kind of remind me less of funfetti and more of the sprinkles on pop-tarts, but I think that’s just the use of the darker blue. If I were going to do it all over again, I would use strictly pastels or strictly neons instead of mixing them like I did. Either way it’s a cute polka dot manicure that’s perfect for spring time.

I wanted to do something fun, springy and quick today that I could share with you guys that wouldn’t require a ridiculous skill level or any special tools and decided on funfetti nails.
Start with a base of white on all of your nails. I highly recommend using a base coat any time that you’re painting your nails no matter what color you’re using. I know that some people say you only really need it whenever you’re working with darks and neons, but I think you need it whenever you’re putting highly noxious chemicals onto your nails otherwise your fingers will eventually turn yellow. Top coats are optional, it just depends on whether or not you care if your manicure lasts.
Then just dose out very small amounts of your colors onto your plate and dab the ends of your toothpicks into them and transfer the color onto your nails in a polka dot pattern. Don’t worry about it looking nice or uniform you want it to be random.
