You Will Need (15 things)

  • Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Scraper
  • Parchment Paper
  • Oven tray
  • Oven
  • Ingredients

  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g Plain (unsweetened) Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Your favorite Fillings !
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Brush
  • 1 Egg (for eggwash)
  • a dash of Olive Oil

Steps (5 steps, 35 minutes)

  1. 1

    Pre-heat your oven to 200℃

Mix flour and baking powder together.

Make a well and add your plain yogurt. Mix together to form a rough dough.

Knead until the dough becomes nice and soft (it's a sticky dough so make sure you flour your kneading surface AND your hands.

  2. 2

Using your rolling pin, roll out your dough to form a round, pizza shape.

Put your round dough onto your lined oven tray.

On one side of your circle, spread out your pizza sauce and add your favorite fillings on top. (I love caramelized onions and mushrooms, green peppers and cheese - but you can put ANYTHING you like inside - that's the great thing about this recipe - you can totally put any leftovers you have in your fridge inside!).

  3. 3

Crack an egg into a small bowl and add a dash of olive oil.

Mix together well and using a brush, brush the outside of your circle (this will help your pizza pockets stick together.

  4. 4

Fold in half and push down the edges so they are sealed.
(You can twist the edges or push them down with a fork).

Brush your remaining egg wash mixture over the top of your pizza pocket and using a knife, cut three holes on the top - to let steam escape when it's cooking in the oven.

Cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until it is nice and golden brown

  5. 5

Leave for 10 minutes before cutting open to eat - it's pretty hot inside so be careful!

    And... enjoy!! It's delicious!
