You Will Need (8 things)

  • 150 ml Tea
  • 175 g Malt Extract
  • 85 g Brown Sugar
  • 300 g Dried Fruit
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda

Steps (6 steps, 60 minutes)

    Heat oven 150 degrees.

    Mix together tea, Malt, sugar & fruit.

    Add eggs & mix through.

  3. 3

    Stir in the flour, baking powder & bicarb.

  4. 4

    Pour into a tin.

    Bake for 50 mins.

  5. 5

    Remove from the oven & brush with some malt.

    Allow to cool.

    Wrap in cling film for 2 days before eating.
