I am not a pro photographer, i do it as a hobby, but whenever i need to find something so i can go take my pictures, i have to search all over.and when i get out there..i forget something.im am a self proclaimed clutz. I saw a few diy camera bags on here and decided to make my own.completely for free. everything i used was either going to thrown out or taking to the back alley, so i gave it new purpose: To keep me organized!! this is my first diy so please be gentle in the comments, but i do take critique and try to apply it when i can so let me know how i did.

CHOOSE YOUR PURSE! remember you are going to want one to fit the things you want to keep in there. (note: once you put the bags and boxes in there will be less space so put everything in it first, and if it all fits just so nicely...get a bigger bag.I never did that and had to go back and move things around)
find the seam that meets the liner to the purse. use your weapon of choice (i used the boxcutter) to remove the stitching on ONE SIDE ONLY. once that is done flip it up and out of the way (if you have any holes in pockets fix them now, again, i learned the hard way)
This is the inside under the liner. now, my bag already had flat squared bottom, if yours does skip this step. If not read on: take the bottom corner of your bag and pull them to the inside from the center inside it should look almost like triangle and out side should look like(well to me anyway...)a mouth. sew the "lips" shut do this for both sides. it will square it up for you.
Get your cereal boxes and (if needed) cut the to size. these are going on the bottom of your bag for support.mine happened to fit so i didnt have to do that, so i flattened and folded them at the original creases and just stuck em in there.(both)
GET THOSE BAGS! take one of your waffle or equivalent boxes and stuff the plastic bags in until it is firm but has a bit of give. leave one narrow side flat and squish the box a bit.(this will give you a bit more room in your bag after)
(i didnt realize to squish it until later..) Put the filled up box with the narrow flat side down longways (did you get that?haha) on top of your cereal box.corner to corner. tape the boxes together where they meet.
take the other waffle box and do one of two things, repeat steps 5 and 6 or cut the box in two pieces, they don't have to be even. fill both sides with bags just like you did before.and put them on either end of the bag. (i cut them in different sizes so that i could use it like a different level to put things.) by the time you finish this step you should have your bag lined with boxes.
I didnt photograph the next steps..my camera died!:( fill in your purse with more plastic bags (cushion!) and flip the liner back over. grab your camera and adjust your set up as needed to fit it in there nice and snug. when it fits how you like, pin the liner back to where you removed it from.
sew the liner back on. i handsewed it. now i did this but you dont have to: tuck the liner down into bottom edge and pin it from the outside. sew the liner down into the corners using a loopy stitch, if that makes sense, from the outside. this will help keep all that box work in place.
Yay! and now for zero cost you have a new camera bag made from completely reused recycled materials! Sweet!!
