This adorable baby frog hat is perfect for a little boy or girl. Newborn to 3 months (13.5”), 3 to 6 months (16”), 6 to 12 months (17.75”). Note: The chain 2 at beginning of each round does not count as a stitch. When joining at end of rounds, join to first stitch. Bulky weight yarn (green) is used for the hat and the outside of the eye. Worsted weight yarn (black and white) is used for the inside parts of the eye.

(24 sts) Round 3: Ch 2. Dc in same st, dc in next st, 2dc in next st, *dc in next 2 sts, 2dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (32 sts) Round 4-7: Ch 2. Dc in same st, dc in each st around. Join. (32 sts) Fasten off. 3 to 6 Months Hat–K hook, Green Yarn Ch 3. Join into a ring. Round 1: Ch 2. 12 dc in ring. Join. 2. Eyes: H hook, Black Yarn Ch 2. Join into a ring. Round 1: Ch 1. 10sc in ring. Join. (10 sts) Change to White Yarn. Round 2: Ch 1. 2hdc in same st, *2hdc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (20 sts) Change to Green Yarn, K hook. Round 3: Ch 1. Hdc in same st, *hdc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (20 sts) Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew eyes to hat.

3. Using green yarn, securely attach eye to top of hat. Weave in ends.
