1 cup Dutch-process Cocoa Powder 2 ½ cup Sugar 2 cup Heavy Cream 1 cup Lyle's Golden Syrup 1 ½ cup Unsalted Butter , cubed 1 tbsp Vanilla 1 cup Dark Chocolate in small pieces (such as Valrhona pistoles) ½ tsp Kosher Salt

1. Combine cocoa and sugar in a saucepan. Add golden syrup, heavy cream and salt.

2. Bring to a gentle boil, then remove from heat. Add butter and stir until mostly dissolved. Add vanilla and dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
