Description

This ring is adjustable and can fit most fingers, therefore it is fun to make for your family and friends. You can also scale it up with thicker gauges and more wires to create beautiful bangle designs!

Instructions

  1. Small 112858 2f2016 01 19 154938 112858 2f2016 01 10 180319 ring 2b 2b1

Depending on the size of the ring, cut approximately 3 x 6”-7” lengths of 20-gauge wire.

  2. Small 112858 2f2016 01 19 154931 112858 2f2016 01 10 180328 ring 2b 2b2

Cut 3 short lengths (about 2.5”) of 26-gauge wire and use these to bind the centre and each side together, making sure the wires don't bunch up but stay one on top of each other.

  3. Small 112858 2f2016 01 19 154926 112858 2f2016 01 10 180338 ring 2b 2b3

Place the wires on your ring stick and wrap around to the correct ring size required. Remove from the ring stick once you have the ring diameter and separate the projecting wires, so that they fan out on each side.

  4. Small 112858 2f2016 01 19 154922 112858 2f2016 01 10 180346 ring 2b 2b4

Thread one of the wires with a bead and create a large loop at the end for your bead to sit in.

  5. Small 112858 2f2016 01 19 143614 112858 2f2016 01 10 180355 ring 2b 2b5

Wrap the rest of the wire around the bead until it meets the ring shank. Create spirals with all the other projecting wires, bringing them in towards the centre.

  6. Small 112858 2f2016 01 19 143606 112858 2f2016 01 10 180400 ring 2b 2b6

Place the ring back onto your ring stick and spend some time adjusting the spirals so that they sit together at the front and look aesthetically pleasing.
