This is a wonderfully decorative stitch and can be used for securing sequins if you fancy adding sparkle to your projects.
Secure the end of your floss and bring your needle up through the front of your fabric. Holding the point of your needle pointing to the left, wrap the length of thread away from you around the needle in an anticlockwise direction three or four times.
Keeping those wraps taut on your needle, push the point back down into the fabric very close to where you came up.
As you pull the needle down, the wraps will be gathered together.
Once the floss is pulled through, the wraps will be pulled down against the fabric in a sweet little knot.
