Using washable glue and a star stencil and a few other craft items, you can make white fabric look like the American Flag.
Draw and cut out a star stencil. I did a pattern of three, so that I could create several lines of stars, kind of like the American flag.
Line the pattern up and fill the stars in with washable glue, moving the stencil along the center of the fabric as you go. Let the glue dry for 24 hours.
Accordion fold the whole piece of fabric, making sure the stars stay in the center.
Tie off the outer section on both ends, that does not have the star pattern.
Pour the Scarlet Red dye over one side of the folds on the outer pieces and pour the Denim Blue dye over the center piece allowing it to lay inside a shallow plastic tub. Let dye soak anywhere from 10 minutes to over night. The longer the dye stays on, the more saturated it will be.
Carefully rinse color off in the sink until water runs clear. Add a few drops of dish soap and scrub off the washable glue in warm water. Let hang dry.
