Description

Sorry if some things are written the wrong way, but I'm Dutch :) I don't know all of the names in english, and google translate sucks.

Instructions

  1. Small img 0101 1299087051

Get all the things you need ready! To make fondant, you're gonna need: 1 white part of an egg 2 spoons of liquid glucose ( I used liquid sweetener, and it worked out well ) 500 g of powdered sugar And food colouring, if you want to.

  2. Small img 0100 1299087397

Mix the egg and the liquid glucose together in a big bowl. You might not see the point of it now, but believe me, you're gonna need a big bowl.

  3. Small img 0102 1299087477

Slowly mix the powdered sugar and the mix of liquid glucose and egg together. Make sure you use small amounts of powdered sugar every time, otherwise it won't mix properly.

When it gets harder to use the spoon, you can use your hands to mix the last bit. If you want to add some food colouring, this is the time to do it :)

  5. Small img 0107 1299087667

Make one, or two balls, and put them in a closed plastic bag, then put THAT in another plastic bag and close it properly.

Put it somewhere dark, outside the fridge. You can keep this fondant for 7 months if you keep it the way I described here. (The paper says when I made it, so that I won't forget that :) )
