About

Inspiration for this project came from a vintage post card I have seen on line.

You Will Need (10 things)

  • Artificial Fake Flowers
  • 1 Foam Wreath 8"
  • Silk Ribbon
  • Spanish Moss
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • 1 Design Print
  • Tulle
  • Pink Fleece
  • Floral Tape
  • Greening Pin(s)

Steps (11 steps, 50 minutes)

  1. 1

This project cost me nothing because I am re-arranging my flower arrangements as soon as I will get tired of them and reusing flowers. You may use any flowers of your choice. It will be you own creation. Have fun!

  2. 2

Using floral tape attach flowers that you would like to use on the outside of your wreath to the foam wreath

  3. 3

    Pin down dry moss

  4. 4

Pin down base flowers which are 75% of your total amount of flowers

  5. 5

Add two more different types of flowers to add some interest

  6. 6

Wrap your wreath with pink ribbon and pin down tulle on the back of your wreath draping it as you go.

  7. 7

Pin down pink fleece fabric to the back of your wreath. I do it to prevent dry moss pieces from falling everywhere if I'll be moving my wreath.

  8. 8

It looks pretty already, doesn't it?

  9. 9

Now the vintage touch. I've cut out one image out of my vintage image book and using hot glue applied pretty lace.

  10. 10

    Tah dah!

Few more beads in the corner of your "vintage" print and you are done. I've used it for my Easter decorations, but since my Mother-in-Law loved it so much, I may give it to her on Mother's Day and will add few family pictures to the wreath. Just an idea.
    As usually - have fun
