Make stunning necklaces, earrings, accessories, etc using Flower (also known as Clover) technique. The main tool needed is a Wire Jig, be warned this technique is addictive
Make stunning necklaces, earrings, accessories, etc using Flower (also known as Clover) technique. The main tool needed is a Wire Jig, be warned this technique is addictive
Start by placing 4 pegs on the jig.
Form a semi–closed loop using round nose pliers then place on the jig.
Wrap the tail of the wire round the peg next to the first peg
Repeat previous step till the 3rd and 4th loops have been formed.
The technique is now complete, take the wire off the jig, trim excess wire. Use the round nose pliers to adjust all the loops formed on the jig, this will ensure that the loops are even and properly closed.
Toughen the wire by using Jaw nose pliers, steel block with hammer or a BeadSmith Whacker.
Here is my design using this gorgeous design, I used gunmetal wire with handmade chain links at the end.
About 12 to 15 Flowers will be needed to make a necklace. Make bead units to attach to the designs.
