I made a bunch to give as Christmas gifts but only took pictures of this one. I don't know if it really takes 45 minutes, I haven't timed it.

You Will Need (5 things)
- Fabric Scissors
- matching your fleece Thread
- A Sewing Needle
- Fleece In A Plain Color
- A Flower Template
Steps (11 steps, 45 minutes)
-
1
If you don't have a flower template to trace, draw one on cardboard or paper and cut it out. It should look like this. It is 3 inches from the center to the tip of a flower.
-
2
Decide how big you want your scarf to be. Use your tailor's chalk or disapearing marker to mark it on the fleece, then cut it out.
-
3
Lay your template on the other piece of fleece and trace it with your marker or chalk.
-
4
Now cut on your lines. It should look like this. Don't worry if it's not perfect, it will still look just fine.
-
5
Keep tracing and cutting until you have ten flowers.
-
6
Lay two flowers on top of each other like this.
-
7
Sew them on the scarf with stiches in the center as shown. Hold it up to see if you like it floppy. If you do skip the next step. sew each petal down as shown.
-
8
Now sew down all the petals as shown if you don't want your flowers floppy.
-
9
Repeat steps 6 through 8 until there are three flowers on this end of your scarf.
-
10
Turn it around and sew two more on this side.

Now you are finished! You can experiment with different fabrics, flower amounts, flower shapes, and different sewing techniques to make your own unique scarves.
