firstly cut out a flower shape that you have drawn
cut out another so that you have two identical flowers
now cut out a circle that will fit in the middle of the flower
sew the circle in the middle of one of the flowers with the same coloured thread
now sew the other flower to the back to the stiching. but STOP when you get halfway so we can attach the flower to the hairband
the reason why we stopped is because we have to attach a saftey pin inside so we can clip it onto the alice band
now we want to the the saftey pin inside the flower. make sure you can open and close the pin easily
now we want to continue to sew around the flower untill the pin has a tight fit
now go and attach the clip to an old alice band. i made my own from a folder that had elastic around it to keep things inside. the folder was not expensive as it came from the pound shop haha. all i did was sew the elastic and tahh dahh :) you can buy a pack of these hairbands from a chemist for about £3 - have fun :)
