You Will Need (5 things)

  • as much Fimo as needed
  • 1 Clear Varnish
  • as many Brooch Back as needed
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 craft Knife

Steps (4 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

First, get all your fimo/sculpey together, keep separate as colours will transfer!
Mould in to the shapes you want, using tools such as crafting knives and rolling pin.

Bake in the oven at the suggested time.

REMEMBER that the thickness of the fimo/sculpey will affect the baking time in the oven!

  2. 2

Take out of the oven, be VERY careful as the clay will be VERY hot for a while after you take it out.

Depending on your desired look, use varnish to make them shiny, or leave them without to create a matte appearance!

    Allow to dry.

  3. 3

Add brooch backs to the back with strong super glue.

Be careful when using super glue as it tends to get in all the nooks and crannies and can often stick the hinge on the fastener.

((If this happens, remove from the back, get tweezers, hold over a flame and the glue will melt, again, be careful as it will be hot, so leave to cool before you touch or try to re-apply again.))

  4. 4

    Ta-Da!
    They're ready to wear!
Spruce up plain garments or bags!
