Cute floral wine glasses

Instructions

  1. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223308 20151216 192627

Clean glasses and wipe dry. Using a large flat brush, run the first colour (green) around the base of the glass.

  2. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223322 20151216 192632

Using a medium round brush, and colours of your choice, dot the first colour around the middle of the glass in varying positions.

  3. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223330 20151216 192639

Repeat with the other chosen colours.

  4. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223338 20151216 193815

Let semmi set, dab in some green if you want leaves.

  5. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223411 20151216 195138

Using the outline (I've used black you can use something else) draw in the "stems" I find it easiest and most effective to have the glass turned upside down and draw the line from the green up to the flower dots, the bottom is thicker at the flowers 'roots' and then thinner where it meets the flowers, its also easier to curve giving them a more natural/abstract shape

  6. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223431 20151216 200011

Using a gold (or other) outline add some little dots in with the flowers. ( not necessary but they are pretty)

  7. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223437 20151216 200022

If they are a gift as mine are (perfect for summer Christmas here in Australia) add the recipients names to the base of the glass. ( or some where else)

  8. Small 112510 2f2015 12 16 223642 20151217 054651

Leave to dry for half an hour. Bake in an oven at 150 Degrees Celsius for 35 Minutes - NOTE: I find it best to place the glasses in the oven when i turn it on so that the glasses heat up as the oven heats up to avoid breakages from temperature change, when the oven is up to heat, start timing. Leave to cool in the oven - no burnt fingers :) Then YOU'RE DONE ! Wrap and gift away !
