These were another snack I made for our Christmas party and I can never have a party without attempting to set something on fire!
These were another snack I made for our Christmas party and I can never have a party without attempting to set something on fire!
Start by buying a regular Christmas pudding from the supermarket.
Scoop it out in to your blender and blitz until it's crumbly.
Pour it out in to a bowl. The odd thing when making Christmas pudding pop mixture is that you have to dry it out, rather than cake pop batter which you have to moisten.
Mix in your cocoa until the mixture starts to thicken up.
Roll in to 14 balls and place on some baking paper.
Insert the lollipop sticks in to each of the balls.
I like to use an egg carton to hold my cake pops up.
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave and pour a spoonful on top of each pudding pop, to resemble cream.
Leave to dry before decorating with red and green writing icing to look like holly.
Leave to dry and then they're ready to serve. Want to set them on fire? Please be careful if you're going to try this. To set them on fire, coat the bottom of the cake pop with brandy and then stand in a cake pop holder before lighting with a match. It looks spectacular and adds a nice toast to your cake.
