The classic jeans and a tee look is always great but sometimes a bit more variety now and then is needed. I hate wasting so this is a perfect way to recycle (which is great for momma earth) and revamp old tees for the summer :)

Take your shirt of choice (this one's stolen from my sister aha) and with your chalk/pencil/marker draw a curved edge from the bottom of the sleeve to the outer edge of the front necklind at the shoulder seam. This will be the cutting lines.
Now that the lines are marked, cut em off.
Now cut the top of the shirt at the neckline in half.
Then, about half an inch from the bottom, cut right above the bottom hem. This loop will serve as the drawstring. Cut the loop of fabric so as to have one long piece.
Pin both edges of the neckline inwards towards the wrong side about 3/4 of an inch.
Sew along the folded edge to create the pockets for the drawstring with a straight/running stitch. Do the same with the back neckline. You can also hand sew this as well. Don't worry if there's bunching.
Now take the drawstring you've cut and attatch a large safety pin to one end. Feed it through both the front and back.
Now you get to try it on and adjust it so it falls the right way over your body. Tie and bow and enjoy!
