I love braids (or plaits, if you're more comfortable with that term). They can be super elegant if you do them right and are the basis for many classy hairstyles. I used a Barbie to demonstrate because my hair is too short to effectively braid.

Description

I love braids (or plaits, if you're more comfortable with that term). They can be super elegant if you do them right and are the basis for many classy hairstyles. I used a Barbie to demonstrate because my hair is too short to effectively braid.

Instructions

1. 

   Separate your hair into two even parts.

2. 

   Separate a small section from the back of the left section.

3. 

   Take that smaller section and cross it over the other section.

4. 

   Then take a small section from the back of the right section.

5. 

   Cross it over to the left section.

6. Repeat: left to right, right to left.

7. 

   In the end, this is what it will look like.
