My version of the fish to sushi tutorial! For the skin I used some old ties from my mom's closet of scraps and fabrics and I stuffed it with normal polyfil. However, with the size of my project, stuffing beads, like bean bag refills, probably would have worked better for converting it from fish to sushi. However, all in all it turned out well for my first sewing machine project. (I'm just going to need to fix the hand-stitched mouth in the future as it is already coming undone due to fraying.) Any suggestions and tips are useful as I start into this new craft.
