This was the first project I used my sewing machine for, so I wanted to be an easy and quick project. I was still weary of doing detailed stich work with the machine and impaling my finger, so all of the face was done by hand and I used the machine to sew shut the perimeter. There is a slight problem with the opening being a little bit too loose, so I'm going to go back and do a tightening stitch around the perimeter so that the phone doesn't slide out of the cozy when it's in a purse. Since this was made to be used on a daily basis, I did not want to sew on tiny pieces of fabric for the antennae and pupils that would get snagged. Instead, I used green thread for the antennae, and a design for the pupils with black thread.
