Cast on Creat a slip knot and tighten it around one knitting needle. Cast on another 25 stitches so that you have 26 stitches in total.
Cuff Work 5 rows in garter stitch (knit every row).
Body Work 10 rows in stocking stitch (knit one row, purl one row)
4. Thumb hole Knit 12 stitches, cast off 3 stitches, knit to end of the row
Purl 11 stitch, cast on 3 stitches, purl to end of the row
5. Edging work 5 rows in garter stitch (knit every row)
6. Finishing off Cast off all stitches loosely, cut the yarn leaving a 20 cm tail and pull it through the last stitch. Thread the sewing needle onto the tail
Fold the mitt in half and use mattress stitch to sew up the seam on the right side
Weave in the remaining ends of yarn on the wrong side of your mitt.
