Another fun & easy to make clasp, as stated before, can used as a link clasp. You will need the same tools & materials as the Fish Hook clasp. This is my favourite, I use it all the time. You can also work from the spool or coil just like the Fish hook.

Description

Another fun & easy to make clasp, as stated before, can used as a link clasp. You will need the same tools & materials as the Fish Hook clasp. This is my favourite, I use it all the time. You can also work from the spool or coil just like the Fish hook.

Instructions

  1. Small start 2bof 2bfig 2b8 2bclasp

Cut 2.5 cm (1 inch) of wire, using the round nose pliers place the wire at the tip. Form a medium loop rolling it towards you.

  2. Small second 2bpart 2bof 2bfig 2b8 2bclasp

Repeat on the opposite side of the wire, hammer & attach to a Fish hook or any other clasp.

  3. Small beadcage 2bpendant 2bnecklace

Tip: The figure 8 link can be used as chain links or with jump rings added to beads or on its own. For a more decorative clasp, why not add seed beads after the first loop closing the loop as previously stated. The example is a necklace using figure 8 as chain links. Happy 'clasping'.
