Another fun & easy to make clasp, as stated before, can used as a link clasp. You will need the same tools & materials as the Fish Hook clasp. This is my favourite, I use it all the time. You can also work from the spool or coil just like the Fish hook.

You Will Need (2 things)

  • Wire
  • Pliers

Steps (3 steps, 20 minutes)

    Cut 2.5 cm (1 inch) of wire, using the round nose pliers place the wire at the tip.
    Form a medium loop rolling it towards you.

    Repeat on the opposite side of the wire, hammer & attach to a Fish hook or any other clasp.

    Tip: The figure 8 link can be used as chain links or with jump rings added to beads or on its own. For a more decorative clasp, why not add seed beads after the first loop closing the loop as previously stated. The example is a necklace using figure 8 as chain links.
