I was desperate to have another place to put my vintage decorations. Our tree in the living room was completely full, so I decided to try to make an arrangment on the wall. And Voila, the wall tree was born!
I was desperate to have another place to put my vintage decorations. Our tree in the living room was completely full, so I decided to try to make an arrangment on the wall. And Voila, the wall tree was born!
I used 2.4 metres if wooden beading (for skirting boards) and corner beading. Using a junior hacksaw, I cut them into the following lengths. 80cm, 60cm, 40cm, 20cm and 10cm. The I glued the beading to the corner beading to make a lip so my decorations wouldn't fall off. Then 2 coats of white paint and once it had dried I put some washi tape along the back edge for a festive touch. The final step us just to pin into the wall using picture pins. The wood is very thin and light so you shouldn't need to drill at all. Then decorate and enjoy!
