About

I created this fun felt tablet cozy to keep my cozy dust free and cute when I wasn't using it. I used a label by Dutch Label Shop to customize it, and so if anyone finds it, they know who it belongs to.

I happen to love watching netflix shows and drinking tea, so that's what I put on my cozy, but you can obviously customize the words and color to fit your style.

You Will Need (8 things)

  • ¼ yd pink Felt
  • ¼ yd hot pink Felt
  • 3 in aqua Felt
  • 1 floz Fabric Glue
  • Sewing Machine
  • Scissors
  • Label
  • 1 Bowl

Steps (9 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

Grab your supplies- You can choose whatever felt colors you want, I just like pink.

  2. 2

Measure your tablet and cut a piece of felt that is 1" wider than your tablet. For the length, you want it to be able fold over the tablet and you'll also want 4" of extra length.

I cannot give you exact measurements since all tablet brands are different sizes.

  3. 3

Use either a circle template or a bowl/plate to use as a guide to trim the extra 4" of your felt into a half circle, as shown in the picture.

  4. 4

cut a strip of hot pink felt that is 1.5" wide and the lentgh should be the same width as your tablet cozy.

  5. 5

With your piece of felt folded over, pin your strip of hot pink felt about 1.5" down from the edge of your felt, as shown.

Stitch down the 2 sides of the felt.

  6. 6

Use fabric glue to adhere the custom label to the felt strip.

As you can see, the extra felt half circle tucks nicely underneath the felt strip to close your tablet cozy.

  7. 7

Use a sharpie and a ruler to draw out your words onto a piece of hot pink felt and cut them out.

  8. 8

Once you have your letters cut out, arrange them onto the opposite side of your felt cozy and glue them down with fabric glue.

  9. 9

Your tablet has a nice and cute new home now!
