I love making these purses, they are perfect gifts. This is a very easy project anyone can make.

Felt Fabric Scissors Embroidery Needle Embroidery Thread Button(s) Rotary Ruler Straight Pins

Description

I love making these purses, they are perfect gifts. This is a very easy project anyone can make.

Instructions

1. 

   Cut a piece of felt (color of your choice) in a 5" wide strip.

2. 

   Fold from bottom 4.5".

3. 

   Pin purse in place and blanket stitch around purse.

4. 

   Blanket stitching.

5. 

   Measure 2.5" in and 3" up from bottom to find placement for button. I used a fabric covered button.

6. 

   Cut a hole for the button to fit through. Whipstitch button hole to reinforce it.

7. 

   You're done! I added a bird applique to my purse. You can do whatever embellishment you like.
