I saw this somewhere in a magazine. The colours I used aren't great but they are leftovers from a scarf I made. Didn't have anything else.
Gather your supplies.
Put the cutter on the foam and fill it evenly with wool.
Start puncturing/stabbing the felt. Make sure you go very close around the edges too.
Take off the cutter and gently pull the shape off from the foam.
You can stop here or use hot water and soap to make the felt stronger. Put half a teaspoon in a cup of hot water. Put down your shape on a sushi mat or a piece of bubble wrap.
Carefully roll it up and gently roll it between your hands. Open it after 10 seconds and turn your project and roll it up again. Repeat a couple of times. It will shrink it. When done, wash out the soap and let dry.
