I got this cool effect by doing a diagonal wrap  around the PVC pipe. It creates this long, sinewy, twisty leg look that's so crazy kicking!]]>

I made it out of an old skirt that was too big.  It's great for all those flowy blouses and tunic dresses that need a little extra something!

*This belt works best with a thick material that has a little bit of stretch in it. ]]>

Now it's the unique studs that make this piece - and since despite searching high and low I could not find anything even slightly similar to the diamond-shaped beauties, I settled to create a diamond pattern with 1/4" pyramid studs procured from Studsandspikes.com. The patterns are also easy to make from your old favorite clothing. This reconstruction is made from copying the pattern from an old jersey dress/tunic that I had, but you can aply the same technique to make one from an old hoodie or cardigan. ]]>
