I decided for my CD Release show, I wanted to wear a fur vest. I did some looking around online, but couldn't find what I wanted, so I decided to make myself one... This was my first attempt at starting from scratch, using a Simplicity Pattern. Everything cost about $20 from Jo Ann Fabrics and I still have plenty of fur left for other projects down the road! This was not the easiest material to work with and I highly recommend shaking out the fur outside every time you cut it because it will get messy! I didn't quite understand the lining part, so I sort of made it up as I went along and it ended up looking cool enough to also be reversible. I included a photo of me rocking out at the show, so you can see how it looked on. Grooviness!
