Hello. I wanted to share this recipe with everyone. Its pretty simple to make and it is a wonderful add on to any meal. Traditional Yorkshire pudding is normally served with gravy on top. But I like it just as well with tomato sauce, its exceptionally good with the herbal combination in this particular recipe.
The first step is to Pre heat the oven to 400, then add about 2 1/2 cups flour into the mixing bowl, and a tea spoon of salt.
Next make a well in the middle of the flour. and add 1 egg in the well.
Mix in the egg until the dough looks lumpy.
Add in favorite herbs to taste. I added a table spoon of Parsley, Basil, Black Pepper and Red Pepper. Mix well.
Caution, Add 1 pint of milk and water mixture a little bit at a time. If you add to much water add a some of the left over flour. It should look like pancake batter. After this add about a 1/2 cup of Parmesan and mix well.
Grease a muffin pan, and pre heat the pan for about 10 minutes in the oven. Let the batter set for this time.
Divide the batter between the 12 muffin cups. Place the muffin pan on the bottom shelf of the oven, for 20 minutes *Do not open the oven* check the puddings half way at 10 minutes. It might not need the whole time.
When you are finished the muffins should look like this.
It is really good with Florentine Language
