So basically all the credit for the pattern and sewing instructions go to this http://mademoisellechaos.blogspot.com/2010/06/make-wish-tutorial-i-ominous-pencil.html wonderful incredible sewing magician...Uh...I added the straps instead of a zipper though... This was just something to occupy myself with all night while the norms slept.. I apologize for the horrible formatting of steps and the pictures for them were taken after the skirt was done so sorry about that too.... ._.

Basically, I cut two pieces of fabric that were 3x8 inches, I just used some scraps from my lining fabric. sew them in half and one of the raw edges, then turn them inside out,
fold the raw edges under so they're inside the tube of fabric you just made, Sew them to the skirt, A good 2 inches back and sew in a square by hand You can add something decorative here, I added a little bow on the top one c:
Now, for this part I used pop tabs...because I'm cheap and impatient... ._. you could use a real buckle but I would suggest making the straps thicker then, because they hardly stay for me in the tiny pop tab holes.. Basically, I just tried the skirt on and pulled the straps to how tight I would want the skirt to be, then marked that You wanna make sure you have enough fabric to overlap at the waist so your underwear isn't showing.. >_> I probably should have mentioned that...
so then I took some random thread I had laying around and sewed the pop tabs on, BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT!! Only sew in the center bar.
Lace up your skirt and look fabulous!
