Ok, for a number of reasons I thought fake nails were a scary thing due to the number of horror stories I’ve heard about them coming off and taking your real nail with them (girly horror film shriek!) However I recently watched this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/mJ_5tf0eDSY And I learned something very interesting: Fake nails can make great Jewelry pieces. At first I thought “there’s no way that’s possible and if it is it will look tacky” But then I continued watching the video a saw the end result and it looked like real designer Jewelry! And I had to try it! Luckily I found some fake nails at my job that I thought were pretty cool And I bought them along with some others( just in case one set failed) And I made these super trendy pieces! I can’t believe how well this worked! I even showed them to some other crafters and they were like “you made this from fake nails!?!?!?” I know; Wow! Only problem is punching the hole not too close to the edge and not breaking the nail while punching the hole or attaching the jump ring
