So last year one of my friends from my hometown put on this fashion show + competition for any young things that wanted to enter. My label headlined the show + even thought it was my first one ever it wasw FANTASTIC. So scary though,I was literally sewing up until the last minute. It all went really well tho + all my friends modelled ((tattooed, pierced, wonderful hair + band boys)) which was So lucky for me to have such good looking friends. Anyway, heres a bunch of the gear I made for the show. It was Fairytale themed. These pics are just from a mini shoot we did at home, most of the fashion show pics were absolute crap. Sleeping Beauty Made from green leopard-print flanelette. The bloomers are edged in black + white lace and have white grosgrain ribbon hanging from the side hem. The jacket is cropped, semi-puff sleeves with a hood and it ties in the front with ribbons. The hood is lined in white flannelette. The shirt is an Experiment #99 shirt, we got a tonne screenprinted up, and I just took it in + cut up the back. Little Boy Blue My favourite ever! It's a really pretty electric blue cotton, fully lined in black. The cropped tuxedo hoodie is super big. it's got puff sleeves + a little band across the top of the tuxedo tails. The Bloomers are just black drill, with two bleu military-style tabs on one leg. Cinderella So Cinderella, after she got married, took up the role of little housewife. In the show my Cinders had a featehr duster + her hair in a bandanna. The jacket is cropped, hooded ((Seeing a theme here?)) and is pale blue cotton with red cherries printed all over it. The skirt has a few layers of blue + White netting underneath the pale blue poufy skirt section. That's all I've got at the moment. There's still Little Red Riding Hood, Little Bo Peep, Puss in Boots, Snow White, Rapunzel, the three Prince Charmings, The Big Bad Wolf + Hansel and Gretel ((I feel I'm missing someone))
