Ever wanted to catch a fairy? Well now you can! Just remember fairies are smart and they love to pull pranks so use caution when creating your fairy jar to trap your new friend.
Ever wanted to catch a fairy? Well now you can! Just remember fairies are smart and they love to pull pranks so use caution when creating your fairy jar to trap your new friend.
To start off you will need your own glass jar! Any size will do! I then went ahead and coated to the inside with light glitter. Be sure not to make a thick coat of glitter on the inside of the jar walls other wise you will not be able to see your fairy glowing at night time.
Next you will want to take your artificial Moss and hot glue it to your jar in any way you please. I made sure mine was disguised enough so your fairy wont know its a trap! Or comfy enough for him or her to live in. You may want to also place some moss on the inside for your fairies comfort.
Now, fairies love to collect things. So this will be your bait. Hot Glue your buttons or beads or anything small and pretty onto your moss. Make sure when you glue it down you press it into the moss. You want it to look like its probably been there awhile. Be sure to place them randomly all over to keep your fairy busy.
Now hopefully your fairy jar turned out something like this.. you may also glue down other things your fairy may like. Good Luck on catching your fairy! (ps. the trick of the glowing fairy...you can stick a battery operated tea light in your jar. a real one would well..not be a good idea..)
