You Will Need (4 things)

  • Ribbon Or Yarn
  • Dry Beans Or Peas.
  • 4 the more bags in pumpkin, the more fluffy. Plastic Bag(s)
  • Paper Bag

Steps (8 steps, 5 minutes)

  1. 1

    Gather you supplies.
Some fake greenery ( mine came from dusty spring decor)
    fabric
    toilet paper rolls
    ribbon or yarn
    plastic bags
    paper bag
    dry beans or peas

  2. 2

Place fabric face down (good side to the floor)
Place 4 plastic bags, one inside the other, in center of fabric.
Put a few handfuls in bottom of bag and place paper roll in center. Do not fill the roll, just place in in the beans to keep it sturdy.

  3. 3

Making sure to keep each bag fluffed, one handle at a time, place over paper roll.

  4. 4

Should look like this when all handels are down.

  5. 5

Do the best you can to tuck all straight sides in tube, you may need to keep holding them in for a bit. Adjust bag fluff as needed.

  6. 6

Alternating sides, fold creases to your desire, fluff and tuck into paper tube. Press fabric firmly down into tube.

  7. 7

You should get something like this
Then add the ribbon or yarn into center. Keeping it flat, go under the ball and back to the center hole. Tuck about 1 in on ribbon into tube and rotate to the other direction around the pumpkin. Repeat in other directions as you like. No need to cut the ribbon, just tuck a bit in everytime you go round.

  8. 8

Finally, roll up a piece of paper bag, grab a bit of greenery and stick it in the hole. Tada, your fabric no sew pumpkin!
Now you can keep going and in no time you will have a whole patch of pumpkin! ENJOY!
