This is quite a fun project when you get going. You can see it coming together quickly. The thing that takes the time is sewing each strip of fabric together.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 12 mm Knitting Needles
  • 1 Wide Strips Of Fabric
  • D Ring(s)
  • Needle
  • Thread

Steps (5 steps, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

Cut long strips of fabric about 1cm wide.

  2. 2

Cast 5 stitches on to 12mm knitting needles and knit as you would normally with in a knit stitch.

  3. 3

When you get to the end of a strip of fabric take a needle and thread and stitch on the next strip. Alter the fabric that you use to make it more patchwork like.

  4. 4

Knit for as long as you would like the belt to be and then when you bind off leave a small tail.

  5. 5

Attach a D Ring to the end of the belt and you're all done.
