You Will Need (8 things)

  • 1 Brooch Pin
  • 1 Button
  • ½ yd Thread
  • 1 large circular Object
  • 1 medium circular Object
  • 1 yd Fabric
  • 1 Fabric Scissors
  • 1 Needle

Steps (11 steps, 25 minutes)

    Trace large circular object on fabric 10 times & cut out.

  2. 2

    Trace medium circular object 1 time & cut out.

  3. 3

    Fold 8 large fabric circles into quarters.

  4. 4

    Place 4 large circular fabric quarters onto 1 flat large circle, with folded edges facing the same directions.

  5. 5

    With needle & thread, sew tips of the 4 quartered large circles to the middle of the flat large circle, & sew a few times between the 4 quarters to connect them.

    Place remaining 4 quartered large circles atop the 4 sewn onto the flat large circle @ a 45 degree angle, & sew tips into middle of the flat large circle, & a few times between the four quarters to connect them.

    Fold 9th large circle in half & roll into cone shape.

  8. 8

    Flatten the fabric cone, lay on top of the two layers of quartered pieces, & sew the tip to the center of the flat large circle.

  9. 9

    Flip the flower over & sew the medium circle over the stitching.

  10. 10

    Optional: Add button or pin back to center of medium circle for easy addition to things.

    Flip & fluff = Flower :)
